[ the short version ]

Hi, I’m Keri

For more than a decade, I’ve helped people reconnect with themselves through creativity, play, storytelling, movement, and honest human connection. My career has never fit neatly into one box — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

On any given day I might be directing kids in their first musical, facilitating trauma-informed expressive arts with teens in treatment, recording a guided meditation, voicing a children’s book, or convincing a room of adults that pretending to be penguins is a perfectly respectable therapeutic intervention.

Because when words feel too heavy, creativity often knows exactly what to say.

For nine years I designed trauma-informed expressive-arts groups for adolescents in residential treatment — blending visual art, theatre, movement, music, and writing into spaces where healing could happen naturally. I’ve been a Teaching Artist with Disney and with The Smith Center’s Education Outreach team, and a creative consultant for teams that want to think a little more playfully.

Costumes, character voices, and the smell of fresh paint backstage still thrill me.

Plant person

An ever-growing collection, and a little more patience learned from each one.

Yoga, on & off the mat

Certified to teach — it keeps me grounded enough to keep playing.

Who reminds me every day that wonder is something we get to choose.

Feed Your Spirit

My guided-meditation series, helping listeners slow down and breathe.

Certified car-belter

Very good chance I’m singing Broadway at a stoplight right now.

Yes, the penguins are real.Pretending to be one is a perfectly respectable therapeutic intervention. Ask me about it.

Yes, it’s a teapot. Yes, it’s my purse.

My everyday carry.

the teapot is not optional

If you’ve met me, you’ve met the teapot. It’s part signature, part conversation-starter, part reminder that a little whimsy belongs everywhere — the boardroom, the classroom, the stage, the grocery line. Balloon couture, fairy wings, a good pun, a teapot for a purse: the costume changes, but the goal never does. Give people permission to play, and watch what opens up when they take it.

And yes — that dress is balloons.

proudly LGBTQIA+

Love, out loud.

Art has always been my way of standing for something. Being proudly part of the LGBTQIA+ community shapes every room I step into — the belief that everyone belongs, exactly as they are, and that a little more color and courage makes the world kinder.

Fun fact: Nevada consistently ranks among the best states for LGBTQ+ families. See why →
